Will my hair be oily afterwards?

No oil is used on your hair however massage oil is used during the neck and facial massage. Most clients leave with a little extra volume (think 80's hair band lead singer) so perhaps don't book this service if you have a fancy dinner date afterward ;)

I have hair extensions, can I book this service?

This treatment is not recommended if you have hair extensions which adhere at the scalp or if your hair is styled in locs.

Is it safe in pregnancy?

This is a service where more than half of the treatment is spent on your stomach, so I cannot perform it on very pregnant people. For pregnancy friendly services visit my Facial Ritual or Reflexology page.

What to expect

The treatment includes neck and shoulder massage, of course the head massage treatment followed by facial marma point activation and finishes with neck and chest massage. The 90 minute service includes all the aforementioned area whilst adding hands and arm massage. Most people notice their jaw unclenching and their shoulders lowering within the first few minutes, and most guests fall asleep during the head massage portion. Thousands of nerve endings in the scalp delivery a deep relaxation.

Sessions take place at 102 – 418 St Paul Street – I operate out of PetalRoot Reflexology Clinic in downtown Kamloops, a short walk from the downtown core and an easy drive from Sahali, Aberdeen and the North Shore. There's street parking on St Paul or neighbouring streets like Nicola or Battle, so you can arrive a few minutes early and settle in.
